This works quite well. Animals are nicely kept, the people are friendly and the park is quite large. To walk around you take at least 2 hours, including the panda is at least another hour extra. That was the highlight from our tour. The pandas are amazing.

Experience with booking itself was excellent! We thourouy enjoyed ourselves on the trip. Not too happy with the parking charges though. We needed to pay RM10 per entry which is pretty steep if the plan was just to be there for a short while. Hopefully it goes towards preserving the Zoo. The Zoo itself seems to still be undergoing some sort of transformation. We still see abandoned enclosures but some of the other attractions have been upgraded – like the Savannah walk and tiger enclosures as well as the bird sanctuary where we can get closer to the animals. That was fun! One word of caution though, it’s going to get HOT and HUMID. Hopefully with more visitors the zoo can help with maybe fan installations around the Zoo to help with scorching heat. Else best bring along a small cooler or handheld fans to keep the young ones from fussing too much.

My family and I enjoy visit zoo negara. Please wear comfortable footwear as the zoo negara is very big and bring umbrella. Price for take tram is rm8 per head. For me, is better visit zoo negara by walking because you can take picture and watch the animal from near. We can only stay 20 minutes to watch cute Panda. I hope can stay longer inside. Watch Animal show is a must(11am & 3pm) when visit zoo negara.
